The Jenison Choirs are enthusiastically supported by the Jenison Choir Boosters. This "booster" group provides scholarships, parent support, uniform maintenance and other extras to our choirs at all levels. They are funded by a few fund-raisers during the year, Entertainment Books in the Fall, the Holiday Nut Sale and the spring Cheese and Sausage sale.
A significant portion of the profits from the Choir fundraisers are kept in the choir student accounts. Students can use the money in their accounts to purchase music-related materials throughout the year. Lessons, Solo & Ensemble fees, uniform costs, trips are just some of the things students use their accounts to pay for. All money in students' accounts must be spent on music materials by graduation. The accounts do carry over from year to year.

Choir parents receive e-mails from our HS volunteer coordinator/accompanist Mr. Colwell, with opportunities to sign up to volunteer. Your help makes the difference in supporting a very active choir program!

- Music--Over $30,000 over the last 20 years for JH and HS Choirs. $750 per year for Elementary Choir Sheet Music and Elementary Honors Choir.
- Scholarships - $20,000 in the last 15 years
- Uniforms--Purchase of tuxes and dresses, vests, and accessories ($22,000)
- JH and HS Lessons rebates at $3/successful lesson
- Food and refreshments for early morning rehearsals and events
We provide program support in other ways, as well:
- Chaperones on Festival Days
- Chaperones on short day trips for JH and major trips for HS
- Hospitality for groups and special guests that come to Jenison for clinics, workshops or festival adjudication
- Lunch assist for JH Tour day and other special events like State Choral Festival
- Setup and strike for Concerts (Staging and risers)
- Setup, publicity, logistics, ushers and ticket sales for Club Night
- Ushers and attendance/Uniform inspections on concert nights
